Rosie is a charming blouse packed with thoughtful details and plenty of opportunities for creativity. The delicate rounded neckline and pretty puffed sleeves give this design a soft, feminine feel, while the panelled front offers endless possibilities for personalisation.
Use contrasting fabrics to highlight the different sections, add decorative ribbons or bias binding, or keep things simple in a single fabric for a timeless look. Rosie fastens neatly at the back with a button and loop closure, creating an elegant finish. Prefer a cleaner silhouette? The pattern also includes the option of a short straight sleeve, making Rosie a wonderfully versatile addition to your handmade wardrobe.
Whether sewn in a favourite print, a classic linen or a beautifully draping viscose, Rosie is a blouse you'll enjoy making as much as wearing.
Important to Know: Atelier Jupe patterns are designed to be traced before use. The pattern pieces are overlapping and printed on both sides of the sheet, so tracing is essential.
This approach allows you to preserve the original sheet, make multiple sizes, and easily adjust the fit as you go. You can use tracing paper, baking parchment, or thin wrapping paper – or we can supply you with spot and cross pattern paper to make the job even easier.
Suggested Fabrics: Choose a light to medium weight fabric such as viscose, cotton, Tencel, polyester, linen or double gauze.
