Handmade in London from coconut acetate with a yellow tinted lens, these limited edition sunglasses are designed to brighten your view rather than darken it. Complete with a DIY paracord neck strap and Solaris printed cleaning cloth.

Our first ever sunglasses, made in collaboration with Cubitts spectacle makers. The idea came from a pair of vintage Nighthawk glasses we came across. The yellow lens was originally designed to help drivers see better at night, cutting glare and filtering blue light. Instead of dimming the world, they lift it. And with Manchester being grey for most of the year, we loved the idea of giving you a little sunshine filter to carry around with you. Each pair is hand-cut and polished at Cubitts' London workshop, by makers paid at least the real Living Wage, the same standard we hold ourselves to at our own factory in Manchester. The acetate is one we chose ourselves from their Kings Cross studio. The shape is simple, squared-off and unisex, designed to slot easily into any wardrobe so you don't have to be brave to wear it. We've added small holes to the ends of the arms and included a paracord neck strap for you to attach yourself, so you get to be part of the making too.
